TCU’s Jaedon LeDee submitted his name to the transfer portal on Thursday, per a report from 247sports.com, the latest defection from the TCU program.
LeDee, a forward who received more playing time as last season went on, transferred to the Horned Frogs from Ohio State two seasons ago.
Assuming he follows through on transferring, he leaves TCU after averaging 5.8 points and 3.9 rebounds per game last season.
This comes on the heels of junior guard RJ Nembhard declaring for the NBA Draft earlier this week. Nembhard left the door open to return to TCU, depending upon what he learns during the process about his chances of being selected for the 2021 NBA Draft.
Nembhard was one of the best guards in the Big 12 last year, averaging 15.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game.
Along with LeDee, Mickey Pearson has also submitted his name to the transfer portal Pearson played just seven minutes per game last season.
The Horned Frogs are coming off a 12-14 season in which they went 5-11 in Big 12 action and lost to Kansas State in the first round of the Big 12 Tournament. TCU lost seven of its last eight games of the season. The Horned Frogs did put guard Mike Miles on the Big 12 All-Freshman Team.
