The Undertaker Visits Texas Spring Football Camp

The Texas Longhorns spring practice is well underway in Austin and a special visitor came to town this week. Wrestling legend The Undertaker made an appearance at practice and shared his excitement around the program’s direction under new head coach Steve Sarkisian.
The Undertaker, real name Mark Calaway, said, “Incredible energy out here today. Guys are flying around. I met coach Sark today, I like what he’s doing. It seems the players are buying into what his scheme is. I feel it. I feel the energy. I’m really excited to see what Sark brings to the University of Teas and I’m looking forward to another Texas year.”
Here’s the video of his appearance at practice.
Calaway is a Houston, Texas native and briefly went to Angelina College before dropping out to start his career. But as a Texas boy, he clearly has a passion for the Longhorns and currently resides in Austin.
This is just the second big celebrity and Austin resident to throw his support and enthusiasm behind Coach Sarkisian, with Texas’ most famous booster, Matthew McConaughey, saying he “feels hopeful” after meeting the new Texas head coach.
