The Big 12 Has No Players with Offensive Rookie of the Year Odds, But Three on Defense
The 2021 NFL Draft is over and now the question is: Which rookies are booms and which are busts?
Well the betting odds are usually a good place to start to get an idea of who is going to stand out, and who is going to fall short of expectations. Interesting for the Big 12 alums, there are zero players given odds to be the 2021-22 Offensive Rookie of the Year.
However, former TCU standout Trevon Moehrig, Oklahoma Sooners star Ronnie Perkins and Texas’ Joseph Ossai were both given odds to be the NFL’s 2021-22 Defensive Rookie of the Year.
Sure they’re lower on the list, but still, that is telling for a Big 12 Conference that too many ignorant sports fans believe is an “offense only” conference.
Here’s a full look at the odds.
