Six Big 12 Football Players Get 2021 Heisman Odds

With spring football in the books, it is time for a little spring cleaning. Of course, after the 2020 season was over, we had questions about teams and luckily for us, spring football helped give us a small sneak peek to those answers.
It seems like as soon as the College Football Playoff ends, everyone wants to release their “way too early” fill in the blank. While I could care less what some talking head thinks about college football in mid-January because he or she will change their mind ten times since then, I do pay attention to the Heisman odds. If you like to sports bet (legally or the other way, wink wink), then there is a chance you have been paying attention to the latest Heisman odds for 2021. William Hill Sportsbook released their updated post spring Heisman odds and a there were a few Big 12 names on their list.
Oklahoma QB Spencer Rattler: +550
Texas RB Bijan Robinson: +2500
Iowa State QB Brock Purdy: +3500
Iowa State RB Breece Hall: +4000
Oklahoma State QB Spencer Sanders: +5000
Texas QB Casey Thompson: +5000
Spencer Rattler and Bijan Robinson were both top ten for Heisman odds, but it was interesting to see Breece Hall ahead of his quarterback Brock Purdy, however I get quarterbacks rule supreme when it comes to the Heisman. Also, how about Casey Thompson making the cut? He was tied with Spencer Sanders along with three other players for being ranked 13th on their list. Are we sure that Casey Thompson will even be the starter down in Austin? Maybe lets pump the brakes a bit on that one.
