Arch Manning may be the most sought-after QB prospect in years. He is the No. 1 QB prospect in the nation in the Class of 2023, according to 247Sports. Oh, and having that legacy as a Manning sure isn’t hurting his stock.

Well Arch ended up on the 40 acres on Saturday, visiting new Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorns facilities.

Other top 2023 recruits were on campus, including wide receiver Johntay Cook, running back and current Texas commit Rueben Owens, and edge rusher/outside linebacker Anthony Hill. Manning was also seen throwing routes to Cook on Williams-Campbell Field.

But it’s going to be a dogfight for Manning’s services. He’s already paid a visit to see Dabo Swinney and the Clemson Tigers, as well as Sonny Dykes and the SMU Mustangs in Dallas. Plus, his future trips include Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide along with Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs.

On his trip to Clemson, this bomb of a throw from Manning went viral, showing off the amount of talent the young man has as he enters his junior year of high school.

The New Orleans native’s recruitment will be one to watch, and if Sarkisian can land him, it will be his best recruiting job to date in what has already been an impressive run since landing with the Longhorns.
