Oklahoma Offensive Lineman Savion Byrd Palms Two Football Helmets

NCAA Football: Oklahoma at Baylor

Anyone who is playing offensive line for the Oklahoma Sooners is a big man. But then, there’s freshman Savion Byrd. The four-star recruit was part of the Class of 2021 and was ranked as the No. 4 interior offensive lineman in the country, according to 247Sports.

And while it might take some time for him to see the field based on OU’s ability to produce high-quality offensive linemen every year, when Byrd’s time comes, he won’t be able to blame tiny hands for any blocking issues that he may have in the Big 12.

The 6’5”, 295-pound lineman shared this photo on Twitter last week.

That led to a fan responding with exactly what we were all thinking.

Byrd then responded with an even more ridiculously impressive photo of him palming two helmets.

Needless to say, while Byrd may have plenty to work on in his development, his hand size is not one of them.
