The Baylor Bears have been crushing it on the recruiting trail and that has continued to transfer over into the transfer portal as well. On Friday, Baylor received a commitment from Auburn wide receiver transfer Hal Presley. He had originally signed with Auburn as part of the Class of 2021, but entered his name into the transfer portal in recent months.
Presley was the 63rd ranked wide receiver in the 2021 recruiting class according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. He originally committed to the Bears last May, but then he reopened his recruitment on October 30th before deciding to commit to Auburn on November 10th.
Presley was ranked a four-star prospect by 247Sports. He caught 46 passes for 1,212 and 17 touchdowns in his final season of high school football. At Mansfield Summit High School, he was named a Texas District 7-6A first-team selection at receiver as a junior and served as the team’s punter as a senior as well.
It will be a full wide receivers room in Waco, as Presley joins four other freshman wide receivers in Cameron Bonner, Elijah Bean, Javon Gipson and Monaray Baldwin.
