Oklahoma Sooners Release 2021-22 Non-Conference Schedule
The Oklahoma Sooners’ 2021-22 non-conference schedule features four teams from Power 5 conferences or the Big East, including back-to-back home games against Florida and Butler.
The Sooners released the schedule on Thursday, which includes 10 scheduled games, plus a trip to the Myrtle Beach Invitational from Nov. 18-21.
But the first 11 days of December serve as a highlight stretch for the Sooners under first-year head coach Porter Moser. On Dec. 1, the Sooners host the Florida Gators in a true, stand-alone non-conference game. Six days later, on Dec. 7, the Sooners host Butler in their BIG EAST-Big 12 Battle game.

Following that, the Sooners have a neutral-site game in Tulsa against Arkansas on Dec. 11. That game will be at the BOK Center.
The Sooners end up facing three SEC teams in 2021-22, with the Sooners going to Auburn for the Big 12-SEC Challenge on Jan. 29.
Oklahoma opens the season on Nov. 9 at home against Northwestern State, followed by a Nov. 12 home game against UT-San Antonio.
Then it’s off to Myrtle Beach, where the Sooners are part of a field that includes Davidson, East Carolina, Indiana State, New Mexico State, Old Dominion, Penn and Utah State.
The Sooners have three other home games before Big 12 play begins in January — against Houston Baptist on Nov. 24, UT-Arlington on Dec. 19 and Dec. 22 against Alcorn State. The Sooners’ only true road game is on Nov. 27 against Central Florida in Orlando.
The Big 12 schedule will be announced at a later date.
