Big 12 Football: Opening Lines Released for Week 4

With Week 3 of the Big 12 football season in the books, we now look ahead to Week 4, which includes our first (mostly) full conference slate of the 2021 season. And as we do early in the week, we’ve got our first look at what Vegas is thinking ahead of the weekend as the lines have been released for Big 12 games this weekend.
These lines will often times start moving quickly by Monday or Tuesday, so if you see a number you like, it’s best to get moving on it. We will release our Big 12 football picks by Thursday, on our podcast and here on the website. Quick note: if you aren’t subscribe to the podcast, go do that now on iTunes, Spotify or wherever you get your podcasts.
Big 12 Week 4 Lines
TCU -10 vs. SMU
Texas -10.5 vs. Texas Tech
Iowa State -6.5 at Baylor
Kansas +14.5 at Duke
Oklahoma State -8 vs. Kansas State
Oklahoma -17 vs. West Virginia
None of these lines seem out of whack, but the one that surprises me the most at first glance is Oklahoma State being an 8-point favorite against Kansas State. Both teams are 3-0 heading into their match up, but the Cowboys are a few plays removed from 0-3, while Kansas State, despite being with back up QB Will Howard, dominated a solid Nevada team and their Week 1 win over Stanford looks better each week.
