Big 12 Bowl Projections Entering Week 7

Even though we are just six weeks into the college football season, that doesn’t mean we can’t look ahead to what the future may hold. There are still plenty of important games to get through and a long way to go but it is never too early to start thinking about the postseason.
Brett McMurphy from the Action Network recently released his latest college football bowl projections. It is always interesting to see how things change from week to week but here is what Brett currently has listed for the Big 12.
CFB Playoff Capital One Orange Bowl
Oklahoma vs Alabama
Allstate Sugar Bowl
Oklahoma State vs Kentucky
Texas Bowl
Baylor vs Mississippi State
Valero Alamo Bowl
Iowa State vs Arizona State
Cheez-It Bowl
Texas vs Clemson
Guaranteed Rate Bowl
Kansas State vs Maryland
AutoZone Liberty Bowl
TCU vs Tennessee
SERVPRO First Responder Bowl
Texas Tech vs USC
There are still eight Big 12 teams on this list, but there are a few slight changes. While Oklahoma is still slated to make the College Football Playoff, their in-state rival Oklahoma State has a new opponent in Kentucky for the Sugar Bowl. Gundy vs another Stoops? Yes please.
Texas also has a new opponent scheduled. Last week they were in line to play Notre Dame and now they could play Clemson. That would be one intriguing matchup in Orlando.
Two other changes include Baylor moving up to the Texas Bowl to take on Mike Leach and TCU bumped up a spot to take on Tennessee.
Last but not least are the Texas Tech Red Raiders. While they still remain on the projection list, they have an interesting matchup with USC where former Texas Tech quarterback Graham Harrell is the offensive coordinator.
