After TCU and Oklahoma, along with Kansas State and Iowa State had wrapped up, Lane Kiffin and the Ole Miss Rebels were on the road against Tennessee. Kiffin was returning to his old stomping grounds where he certainly doesn’t have many fans after he left as the Tennessee head coach in 2010 for USC after just one season on the job.
Needless to say, it was a wild affair on Saturday night in Knoxville, which included Lane Kiffin getting pelted by a fan with a golf ball.
Here’s another angle.
Needless to say, regardless of how you feel about Lane Kiffin, and I’m not exactly looking to lead the Lane Kiffin Fan Club any time soon, the fan who threw a golf ball shouldn’t be allowed back in the Stadium any time soon. Oh, and Ole Miss went on to win the game 31-26.
The passion of college football is what makes it the best sport out there, but then you get a couple of fans who always try to ruin it for the rest of us.
