Week 8 AP Poll: Oklahoma State Enters Top 10, Baylor Back in Top 25

The latest AP Poll is out and three Big 12 teams remain ranked with the Oklahoma Sooners, Oklahoma State Cowboys and Baylor Bears are all in the Top 25.

The Oklahoma Sooners moved up one spot from No. 4 to No. 3 after beating down on TCU on Saturday night at home behind true freshman QB Caleb Williams. Meantime, the Oklahoma State Cowboys moved up to No. 8, entering the Top 10 for the first time this season and setting up a great match up this weekend against Iowa State. Also, Baylor is back in the Top 25 this season after picking up a win over BYU on Saturday.

So here’s a look at the Top 25 for Week 8 of the 2021 college football season.

Meantime, Texas is back to being unranked after the Longhorns blew a double-digit, second-half lead for the second consecutive week, this time against Oklahoma State.

The Big 12 has three ranked teams, tied with the ACC, and behind the SEC and Big Ten, who each have six teams ranked.

Iowa State and Texas also received votes this week.
