Big 12 Bowl Projections Entering Week 11

Even though we are ten weeks into the college football season, that doesn’t mean we can’t look ahead to what the future may hold. There are still plenty of important games to get through and a whole month to go but it is never too early to start thinking about the postseason.
Brett McMurphy from the Action Network recently released his latest college football bowl projections. It is always interesting to see how things change from week to week but here is what Brett currently has listed for the Big 12.
CFB Playoff Goodyear Cotton Bowl
Oklahoma vs Oregon
Allstate Sugar Bowl
Oklahoma State vs Alabama
Texas Bowl
Kansas State vs Mississippi State
Valero Alamo Bowl
Iowa State vs Arizona State
Cheez-It Bowl
Baylor vs Pittsburgh
AutoZone Liberty Bowl
Texas vs Florida
Despite their number eight ranking by the CFB Playoff committee, the Sooners are still squarely in the mix for the playoff taking on Oregon. Staying in the state of Oklahoma, the Cowboys yet again are picked for the Sugar Bowl, but they do have a new opponent in Alabama which would be tough.
The Texas Bowl stays put with Kansas State taking on Mike Leach and Mississippi State, but we have a switch with Iowa State and Baylor. Baylor has bumped down to the Cheez-It Bowl after their loss to TCU while Iowa State jumps ahead to play in the Alamo Bowl.
Last but not least we have the Texas Longhorns who have been falling further and further down the last over the last few weeks. The Longhorns are now projected to play Florida in the Liberty Bowl which should be an interesting matchup if it holds. You also may have noticed that after making their way back into the bowl picture last week, West Virginia is now back out of the picture.
