Big 12 Bowl Projections Entering Week 12

Even though we are eleven weeks into the college football season, that doesn’t mean we can’t look ahead to what the future may hold. There are still plenty of important games to get through and a whole month to go but it is never too early to start thinking about the postseason.
Brett McMurphy from the Action Network recently released his latest college football bowl projections. It is always interesting to see how things change from week to week but here is what Brett currently has listed for the Big 12.
Allstate Sugar Bowl
Oklahoma State vs Ole Miss
PlayStation Fiesta Bowl
Oklahoma vs Notre Dame
Texas Bowl
Iowa State vs Mississippi State
Alamo Bowl
Baylor vs Utah
Cheez-It Bowl
Kansas State vs Pitt
Guaranteed Rate Bowl
West Virginia vs Rutgers
AutoZone Liberty Bowl
Texas Tech vs Florida
Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl
TCU vs Middle Tennessee
While Oklahoma State remains in the Sugar Bowl, their in-state rival Oklahoma is now out of the playoff picture. The Sooners loss to Baylor pushed them back outside the top ten and went from the playoff to the Fiesta Bowl.
Meanwhile the Cyclones move from the Alamo Bowl to the Texas bowl against Mississippi State and Baylor jumps up to the Alamo Bowl to take on Utah.
Despite winning, Brett picked Kansas State to fill in the Cheez-It Bowl spot, but we have some interesting movement toward the bottom of the list.
With Texas Tech’s win against Iowa State, the Red Raiders are now bowl eligible and are set to take on Florida in the Liberty Bowl. Going into this weekend, we have two new teams making their way back onto the list. Both TCU and West Virginia are in the bowl projections after missing out last week. The Mountaineers are predicted to play in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl while TCU will take on Middle Tennessee in the Armed Forced Bowl.
