Oklahoma State opened as a 6.5-point favorite over Baylor in next weekend’s Big 12 Championship Game, according to odds from BetOnline.ag.
This spread is a 2-point difference since the last time the Cowboys and Bears played earlier this season, when Oklahoma State was a 3.5-point favorite and went on to win the game 24-14 in Stillwater. The Over/Under listed for the game is 47 total points.
The Cowboys have been a covering machine as they entered Bedlam with a 9-0 record against the spread in their previous nine match ups. Depending on what you got the Cowboys at on Saturday, as they opened as a 3.5-point favorite, but the line moved to 4.5, you may have picked up another winning ticket on the backs of the Pokes, who beat Oklahoma 37-33.
Meantime, the Baylor Bears have also been very good against the number this season. While they didn’t cover the spread on Saturday against Texas Tech in a 27-24 win, they came into the game with an 8-3 record against the spread this season. Also of note, Baylor is 3-1 against the spread on the season when entering the game as an underdog and 3-1 straight up as an underdog.
The Big 12 Championship Game kicks off at 11:00 a.m. CST from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on Saturday on ABC.
