Big 12 Bowl Projections Entering Conference Championship Weekend

We have finally made it through the regular season. It went by extremely quick as conference championship weakened is approaches. There are just a few games this weekend but keep in mind outside of crowning conference champions, these conference title games will also have a significant impact on the bowl picture heading into selection Sunday.
Brett McMurphy from the Action Network recently released his latest college football bowl projections. It is always interesting to see how things change from week to week but here is what Brett currently has listed for the Big 12.
Goodyear Cotton Bowl
Oklahoma State vs Michigan
Allstate Sugar Bowl
Baylor vs Alabama
Texas Bowl
Kansas State vs Mississippi State
Valero Alamo Bowl
Oklahoma vs Oregon
Cheez-It Bowl
Iowa State vs Clemson
Guaranteed Rate Bowl
West Virginia vs Minnesota
AutoZone Liberty Bowl
Texas Tech vs Missouri
There isn’t a ton of changes this week but there are some new opponents that some of these Big 12 teams will be facing. Oklahoma State remains in the playoff picture and with Michigan’s win over Ohio State last weekend, they will be taking on the Cowboys.
Baylor stays in the Sugar Bowl and now have Alabama meeting them in New Orleans. Meanwhile Kansas State and Iowa State trade places while the Sooners will remain in the Alamo Bowl against Oregon.
Finally, we have West Virginia and Texas Tech staying put but will have some new teams to deal with. West Virginia will get Minnesota in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl and Texas Tech will take on a familiar team in Missouri. Feels like the old Big 12 again, doesn’t it?
