Four-Star Recruits Nick Evers, Jayden Gibson Set to Visit Oklahoma

Oklahoma is set to host a duo of Florida Gators decommits this weekend and needs some good news after a rough couple of weeks in Norman. With the early signing period less than a week away, it will be of extreme importance to get these guys on board for the Sooners.
Four-star QB Nick Evers, from Flower Mound, Texas, is widely considered one of the best signal-callers in the 2022 class and would be a huge addition for the Sooners after losing Spencer Rattler to the transfer portal. Four-star WR Jayden Gibson is a product of Winter Garden, Florida, and is a big target at 6’5″ and has an extremely large catch radius.
The duo announced that they would be taking official visits to Norman this weekend via Twitter:
According to Josh McCuistion of SoonerScoop, the duo of Evers and Gibson could be a package deal, so if things go well in Norman this weekend, Oklahoma could be back on the rise yet again.
Jeff Lebby has been hard at work since he took the offensive coordinator position at Oklahoma, and if he lands these two talents and Oklahoma is able to retain what it currently has, the Sooners could still end with a top 10 class in 2022.
