AP All-American Team Features Eight Big 12 Players
The AP All-American Team was released on Monday, featuring eight players from the Big 12 conference, including three first-team selections.
Iowa State’s Breece Hall was a first-team selection at running back alongside Michigan State’s Kenneth Walker III. Kansas State’s Deuce Vaughn was the first-team selection for all-purpose offensive player; the first player from Kansas State to make the AP All-American first team since Jordy Nelson did it in 2007. Baylor’s do-it-all safety Jalen Pitre was the AP first-team safety selection. Pitre was all over the field for the Bears this season and was a catalyst for their Big 12 Championship run.
