The Cyclones received their first Christmas gift this year in the form of a three-star recruit. Defensive back Jontez Williams shared news of his commitment to Iowa State on twitter.
Williams played four years of varsity football at Bradford High School in Starke, Florida. During his time there, the 5’11, 175 pound DB recorded 59 total tackles, 23 solo tackles, six interceptions and forced one fumble.
Jontez Williams also spent time on the offensive side of the ball at wide receiver, running back and quarterback.
Williams joins a Cyclones 2022 recruiting class that ranks 4th in the Big 12 and 30th in the nation.
In addition to football, Williams also plays varsity basketball and runs track at Bradford.
