Big 12’s Women’s Bracketology Number Remains at 7 Per ESPN

The Big 12 women saw seven teams remain in the most recent NCAA Tournament Bracketology released by ESPN over the holiday weekend.
One of the biggest changes was that Texas moved up to being the Big 12’s highest seed, moving into a No. 2 seed while Baylor fell to a No. 3 seed. Along with Iowa State, which is a No. 4 seed, the Big 12 has three teams in the Top 16 seeds of the NCAA Tournament per this edition of Bracketology.
Other takeaways:
Kansas and West Virginia are the two teams closest to exiting the field. Kansas is on the ‘last four byes’ list, while West Virginia is one of the ‘last four in.’
Along with Texas, Kansas and Oklahoma also moved up in seeding from last week.
Alon with Baylor, West Virginia moved down in seeding from last week.
The Spokane Region is loaded with three Big 12 teams — Texas, Kansas State and West Virginia.
Along with the seven Big 12 teams, two future Big 12 teams are in the field — UCF and BYU.
