A Baylor-Kansas National Title Game in New ESPN Bracketology

Baylor and Kansas would both be No. 1 seeds and be on a collision course for a national title game in the most recent NCAA Tournament Bracketology by ESPN.
ESPN’s Joe Lunardi has Baylor and Kansas as No. 1 seeds in his latest bracket, but with both the Bears and the Jayhawks on opposite sides of the bracket, there would be an opportunity for an all-Big 12 national title game.
But, that’s getting ahead of ourselves. Lunardi had seven Big 12 teams in this bracket, just one bid behind both the Big Ten and the Southeastern Conference, each of which have eight.
Other takeaways:
Texas and Iowa State both moved up a seed line in this edition.
Oklahoma would be the only Big 12 team to face a ‘Power 5’ conference team in the first round, as the Sooners would face Mississippi State.
TCU, which is scheduled to play its first Big 12 game on Saturday against Baylor, is the third team out of the bracket. UCF, a future Big 12 member, is the fourth team out.
