CBS Sports Lists Oklahoma, Baylor in Way-Too-Early Top 25

It’s officially “Way-Too-Early” season, meaning that some of the hottest takes and speculation are circling around what the 2022 season of college football will look like.
Every year, publications release their take on the Top 25 going into next season and it gets social media all bent out of shape and riled up; which is why I absolutely love this time of year. CBS Sports, one of the bigger names associated with these “polls” has released their way-too-early Top 25 for 2022 and it features four teams from the Big 12, but two of them are in the top six.
Oklahoma, contrary to the turmoil currently surrounding the program, is listed at No. 4 heading into next season with the Big 12 Champion Baylor Bears not far behind at No. 6. Texas, which is a regular in preseason polls but scarcely found there in the postseason, is listed at No. 16 while the Big 12 runner-up and Fiesta Bowl champions, Oklahoma State Cowboys are found at No. 25.
