Oklahoma Women Rise Two Seeds in Latest ESPN Bracketology

The Oklahoma Sooners are now considered a Top 16 team in the most recent NCAA Women’s Tournament Bracketology released by ESPN’s Charlie Crème on Friday.
The Sooners, who are now ranked in the Top 15 in the AP Top 25, moved up two seed lines after continuing to run through Big 12 competition, as the Sooners have won four straight.
Oklahoma is now a No. 4 seed in the field, per Crème, if the Tournament started today.
Six teams made the field from the Big 12 for the second straight time.
Other trends and notes:
The Iowa State-Texas game had an impact on seeding. Texas defeated Iowa State on Wednesday, as the Cyclones did not have Ashley or Aubrey Joens in the lineup. That played a hand in Texas moving up to a No. 5 seed and Iowa State moving up to a No. 3 seed.
Baylor moved up a rung as well, as the Bears were a No. 4 seed after two straight wins.
Kansas State dropped two spots from a No. 4 seed to a No. 6 seed after losing two straight after making the AP Top 25 for the first time this season. Kansas State did win on Wednesday, stabilizing its seeding.
