TCU Football: 2022 Recruiting Class Rundown

Jordan Hudson leads three four-star recruits signed by the TCU Horned Frogs during the opening day of the early signing period for the 2022 football recruiting class.
Hudson, a wide receiver, and his teammate at Garland, safety Chace Biddle, both signed with the Horned Frogs, along with seven other players deemed three-star recruits by 247Sports.com.
Gladewater four-star wideout DJ Allen was a late pickup for the Horned Frogs who committed to TCU one day before signing with them.
Arkansas transfer running back Trelon Smith highlights the list of eight transfers coming to TCU for 2022. The Horned Frogs also lured linebacker Terrence Cooks, a former Texas linebacker and former four-star recruit in high school, to play for TCU next season.
The Horned Frogs finished the 2021 season with a 5-7 record, making them one of three Big 12 teams to miss bowl season, along with Texas and Kansas.
TCU parted ways with long-time head coach Gary Patterson on Oct. 31, paving the way for SMU head coach Sonny Dykes to take over the program once the season concluded. This is Dykes’ first recruiting class, and he’s had just a handful of days to hit the trail on behalf of TCU.
The Horned Frogs will be seeking a return to the prominence they enjoyed under Patterson shortly after joining the Big 12 when they shared the 2014 Big 12 title and won at least 10 games in three of four seasons between 2014-17.
