The reigning Big 12 Champions have set a date for their first appearance as the 2022 version of the Baylor Bears. After 15 scheduled spring practices, the Bears will conclude spring football with the Annual Green and Gold Game on April 23.
Kickoff time will be announced at a later date, but the spring game will be Baylor fans’ best opportunity to see the team before the season starts in August.
It is also worth noting that Baylor will hold its Pro Day on Wednesday, March 30, as former players will get a chance to showcase their abilities in front of NFL scouts.
The Baylor Bears are coming off of their best season in school history, capped off by capturing the Big 12 title and defeating Ole Miss in the Allstate Sugar Bowl, BU’s first New Year’s bowl victory since the 1957 Sugar Bowl against Tennessee.
Baylor has yet to announce their opponent for their 2022 season opener on September 3, after the originally scheduled meeting with Louisiana Tech was canceled.
