Kansas, Baylor Remain No. 2 Seeds in NCAA ESPN Bracketology

NCAA Basketball: NCAA Tournament-South Regional Practice

Kansas and Baylor remained No. 2 seeds in the latest ESPN Bracketology 68-team field released on Tuesday by ESPN.

Joe Lunardi’s latest 68-team field didn’t change much as far as the Big 12 was concerned. There are still seven teams making the field. West Virginia is still not among the Top 8 bubble teams and Oklahoma’s chances of remaining in the field are a bit dicey.

There are significant games coming up on Saturday that could influence the next release on Tuesday, including Baylor facing Texas, TCU facing Texas Tech and Kansas facing Oklahoma.

Selection Sunday is in one month on March 13.

Other takeaways:

Moving up: TCU was the only team to move up from a seed line on Tuesday. The Horned Frogs, who beat Oklahoma State on Tuesday, moved from a No. 9 seed to a No. 8 seed.

Moving down: Texas Tech was the only Big 12 team to drop a seed line, going from No. 3 to No. 4 after its loss to Oklahoma on Wednesday.

Holding steady: The remaining five Big 12 teams in the field held steady. The Big Ten and the Big East also have seven teams in the field, which along with the Big 12 is the most of any conference.
