Ayoka Lee leads Two Big 12 Players on Lisa Leslie Watch List

Kansas State center Ayoka Lee is one of two Big 12 players selected to the Lisa Leslie Center of the Year Award watch list Top 10 released on Friday.
Baylor’s Queen Egbo is also on the list.
Lee leads the Big 12 and is third in the nation with 24 points per game, and she leads the Big 12 and is second nationally in total points 577. She also averages 10.3 rebounds per game, which is second in the Big 12 behind Baylor’s NaLyssa Smith.
Egbo was on the Leslie Award’s Final Five last season, and this is her third time to make the cut for the Top 10. She is averaging 10.3 points and 8.2 rebounds this season. Her 158 career blocks is seventh in program history. She is coming off a double-double against Kansas State on Wednesday.
The award is named for Leslie, who played her college ball at USC and had a Hall-of-Fame career in the WNBA and international basketball. She was a three-time WNBA MVP, a two-time WNBA champion, a member of the WNBA’s first All-Decade team and a four-time Olympic gold medalist.
