Texas Has Best Odds to Win 2022 College World Series

After one weekend of baseball in the books, Texas looks like one of the top teams in the country, just as the preseason polls predicted. The Longhorns barely broke a sweat after a three-game series with Rice, winning 7-0, 15-1, 14-2. After an opening weekend like that, it’s not hard to imagine why UT would be viewed as the early betting favorite to win the College World Series in June.
The Longhorns currently hold the best odds at 15/2, according to BetOnline.ag, just edging out Vanderbilt who is listed at 10/1 to take home the crown. Oklahoma State comes in with the ninth-best odds in the country at 18/1, while TCU and Texas Tech aren’t far behind with 25/1 odds.
Those four teams are expected to be the cream of the crop in the Big 12 this season but don’t sleep on Baylor and Oklahoma who are both listed at 100/1 to take it all home. While they may be longshots to be crowned the champions in Omaha, the Bears and Sooner will certainly have roles to play in the Big 12 Championship when things are said and done.
