Oklahoma Sooners

Sooners, Cowboys Remain in Top 10 of USA Softball Top 25

The Week 4 edition of the USA Softball Top 25 has been released and there were no changes in ranking for either of the Big 12 teams in last week’s poll.

After a 9-1 win over Minnesota on Monday, Oklahoma now sits at 16-0 and remains to be the top team in the land. The Sooners’ career home run leader Jocelyn Alo is still being intentionally walked but has a chance to break the all-time NCAA home run record when she goes home this weekend for the Rainbow Wahine Classic in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Oklahoma State turned in a 2-1 weekend with their lone loss coming to Stanford on Saturday. Now at 12-5, the Cowgirls remain at No. 10 in this week’s poll.

Texas remains on the outside of the polls for a second straight week, but did receive 10 votes in this poll.
