Watch: Kansas Basketball Drops Hype Video Ahead of Title Game vs. UNC

NCAA Basketball: Baylor at Kansas

The final verse of the 2022 NCAA Tournament will be written tonight as the Kansas Jayhawks face off against the North Carolina Tar Heels for the right to call themselves champions.

Forgotten in the pageantry of the game is the weight of the moment for each of the young men that will step out on the court tonight in New Orleans.

Playing in a game of this magnitude is an experience that less than .01% of the population gets the chance to do, yet they must find a way to prevail in the moment and do what it takes to make sure their team is the one that comes out on top.

That kind of weight is hard to capture in a video montage, but it would be a lie to say that this video from KU Basketball didn’t give me goosebumps.

Danny Manning, the 1988 Final Four Most Outstanding Player, was a part of the ’88 Kansas team that took home the crown. He, along with the rest of Rock Chalk Nation, are hoping that the 2022 iteration can have the same result tonight.

Tip-off is scheduled for 8:20 p.m. CT tonight, with KU currently sitting as a 4.5-point favorite.
