Texas Leads Big 12 With Fourth-Best Odds to Win College World Series

Not long ago, the Texas Longhorns were the No. 1 team in college baseball, but now they sit at 25-11 (5-5 in Big 12 play) and are 7-6 in their last 13 games.

However, their recent struggles haven’t phased Vegas bettors, who still have UT as one of the favorites to end the season as national champions.

The Tenessee Volunteers are currently listed as the overall favorite to win the 2022 College World Series, at 15/4 odds, but not far behind them, at fourth-best, are the Longhorns at 11/1.

Despite losing arguably their top player, RHP Tanner Witt, the Longhorns are still considered one of the most dangerous teams in the country.

The next Big 12 team on the list is north of the Red River, as the Oklahoma State Cowboys are listed with the seventh-best odds at 18/1. After that, the Texas Tech Red Raiders have the 13th-best odds at 22/1, despite being ranked fourth in this week’s poll.

Two more schools made the board, with TCU having 33/1 odds to take it all home this summer, and the Oklahoma Sooners are a longshot at 100/1 odds.
