Mike Gundy is a former quarterback at Oklahoma State. But this weekend we will see just how much zip he has on the old fastball.
As the Cowboys get set to play their spring game this weekend, Oklahoma State’s football program will be a front and center for this weekend’s baseball match up against TCU.
As was announced by the school on Monday, Mike Gundy will throw out the first pitch for Friday night’s first game of the three-game set against the Horned Frogs. Then on Saturday, new defensive coordinator Derek Mason will handle those duties, followed by offensive coordinator Kasey Dunn on Sunday.
It will all be part of a fun-filled weekend in Stillwater, as the spring game will take place on 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Oklahoma State softball also has a big match up against the Texas Longhorns this weekend at Cowgirl Stadium. Texas is fresh off handing Oklahoma its first loss of the season on Saturday.
The baseball and softball games begin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, followed by Saturday’s spring game at 1:00 p.m., baseball at 6:00 p.m., softball at 6:30 p.m., and then Sunday ends with softball at 1:00 p.m. and baseball at 1:30 p.m.
Also of note, Orange Power Weekend also has a tailgate scheduled for 3-5 p.m. on Saturday located north of the Sherman Smith Center. Admission is free and includes tailgating, a live DJ, inflatables, and a mechanical bull.
