The Arizona Cardinals have traded away their first-round pick to the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for wide receiver Marquise Brown. In addition to Brown, the Cardinals also acquire a third-round pick, No. 100 overall.
This move reunites Brown with his college quarterback at Oklahoma in Kyler Murray. Brown was selected No. 25 overall in the first round in 2019 out of Oklahoma, while Murray was the No. 1 pick in that draft.
Brown had 91 receptions for 1,008 yards and six touchdowns in 2021.
When the two played together during the 2018 season with the Oklahoma Sooners, Brown finished with 75 catches for 1,318 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Brown becomes another weapon for Murray, Kliff Kingsbury and the Cardinals, who got off to a 7-0 start last season, but then struggled down the stretch finishing 11-6 and lost to the Los Angeles Rams in the Wild Card Round.
