Texas vs. Alabama Football Game Officially Sold Out

In Week 2 of the 2022 college football season, two of the most iconic brands in the sport will face off in Austin, TX, as the Texas Longhorns play host to the Alabama Crimson Tide.
The game is set for an 11:00 a.m. CT kickoff, to the disdain of Texas fans everywhere not just because its an early kickoff, but an early kickoff in the second week of September. It will undoubtedly be in the 90s with a heat index over 100, but apparently that hasn’t stopped fans from securing their tanning beds, er, I mean seats.
According to Texas Football’s official Twitter account, the game against Alabama has already sold out.
This is undoubtedly the biggest game that has been played in Darrell K. Royal since 2019 when the Longhorns hosted Joe Burrow and the LSU Tigers.
That game nearly went the way of the Longhorns, but the one of the best teams to ever play college football escaped with a 45-38 victory.
This time, there are a few more storylines, like Saban facing his former offensive coordinator, or the Tide playing against a few members of the Texas team that were with this this time last season. Nonetheless, tickets for the game have already been sold out and can only be found at third-party dealers like StubHub.
