The class of 2023 just got stronger for the Horned Frogs after picking up another defensive commitment.

This news has to have the excitement for Horned Frog’ fans carrying over from last weekend, after they got a huge commitment from Avion Carter, a four-star defensive lineman.

The safety out of Marshall, Texas is ranked as a three-star prospect by 247Sports and will be staying in the Lone Star State. Warren is listed at 6’2, 180 pounds and is the third safety to commit to TCU in the 2023 class. Out of the 12 commitments, five of those are defensive players as TCU looks to beef up that side of the ball.

As a junior in high school, Montana Warren was a Texas District 9-5A-1 First Team selection at defensive back and will look to carry that over into his senior year.

TCU was the latest school to offer Warren a scholarship, offering him back on April 15th, and it didn’t take him long to decide where he would play his collegiate career. Other schools that were after Warren include Louisiana Tech and Louisiana.

TCU’s 2023 class is ranked at #15 by 247Sports and look to continue to climb in the rankings under head coach Sonny Dykes, who is going into his first season with the Horned Frogs.
