On this Father’s Day, Kansas State fans have gotten some good news. The Wildcats have picked up their fourth commitment in the class of 2023. Andre Davis announced today that he would be heading to Manhattan, joining former teammate Sterling Lockett.
Andre Davis is ranked as a three-star by 247Sports from Blue Valley High School. Davis is the seventh ranked player out of Kansas. The receiver is listed at 6’4, 200 pounds and is the son of former Central Arkansas wide receiver Willie Davis, who played eight seasons in the NFL.
Davis chooses Kansas State over Iowa, Iowa State, Nebraska, and Minnesota. This is a huge get for the Wildcats, who haven’t seen too many receivers come through the program with the size Andre possesses.
Davis was scheduled to go on visits to both Iowa and Iowa State but has canceled them after committing to the ‘Cats. The receiver was recruited by new wide receivers coach Thad Ward.
Kansas State continues to dominate the Sunflower State as Davis is the fourth commitment out of Kansas in the class of 2023. The Wildcats now have the 7th, 9th, 10th, and 11th ranked players from the state and look to continue to keep recruits in their home state, with both four-star prospects Avery Johnson and Dylan Edwards decisions’ looming.
