Oklahoma Baseball Coach Skip Johnson’s Message to Sooner Nation: ‘Its Time For You to Invade’ Omaha

If you missed it last night, the Oklahoma baseball team took down Notre Dame by a score of 6-2 to put themselves in the driver’s seat to make the MCWS Championship Series next weekend.
With just one more win, the Sooners will enter the finals for the first time since winning the whole thing back in 1994.
With OU being red-hot, the Sooners’ skipper Skip Johnson went to Twitter to share a message he has for Oklahoma fans.
The Sooners are set to play the winner of Texas A&M and Notre Dame on Wednesday, needing just one win to advance to the finals, while one of the two teams that Oklahoma sent to the loser’s bracket will have to defeat the Sooners twice to get there.
Oklahoma is 2-0 in the College World Series so far, which is not only the best start the could ask for, it also has a bit of history behind it. The Sooners now have three 2-0 starts in MCWS history, and the other two came in 1951 and 1994. Any guesses to what happened in those years?
Well, I’ll put it this way: if history repeats itself, Oklahoma will head back to Norman with the hardware next weekend.
