2023 Four-Star OT Cayden Green Picks Oklahoma

The Oklahoma Sooners are picking up legitimate steam on the recruiting trail and will go into the weekend feeling good about their class as they picked up a commitment from 2023 offensive tackle Cayden Green.

The four-star offensive tackle from Lee’s Summit North High School (MO) is rated as the No. 4 offensive tackle in the 2023 class and is the No. 34 overall recruit in the class according to Rivals.

Green, listed at 6-5, 315 pounds, chose the Sooners over 31 other offers, including Nebraska, LSU, Missouri, Georgia, Notre Dame, Miami, Michigan, Oregon, Texas A&M, and USC among others.

With Green’s commitment, Oklahoma now has 12 pledge for the 2023 class and has risen to the No. 18 class in the country, right behind Alabama at No. 17. The Sooners have many more targets scheduled to commit in the month of July and could see themselves in the Top 10 before too long.

Green is the second blue chip recruit to choose Oklahoma this week, as Jaquaize Pettaway, a four-star wide receiver and No. 4 wideout in the class of 2023, picked the Sooners on Wednesday.

Sooner Nation was worried about the staff’s recruiting tactics a few weeks ago, but it appears that they have things well under control.
