2023 Four-Star CB Jasiah Wagoner Commits to Oklahoma

Oklahoma picked up its 13th commitment since June 1 on Monday as the Sooners received a pledge from 2023 cornerback Jasiah Wagoner.
Wagoner, a four-star recruit out of Spanaway, Washington, is the No. 2 player in his state and is ranked as the No. 17 cornerback in the 2023 class according to 247Sports.
Wagoner picked up an offer from Oklahoma this spring and took a couple of unofficial visits to Norman, including a trip to Oklahoma’s high school camp where he got to work with the Sooners’ staff. That trip had a huge role in Wagoner choosing Norman as his home for the next four years.
“I picked Oklahoma because of how elite the coaching staff is and I know I can get developed on and off the field,” Wagoner told 247Sports. “I knew it was the place for me after I went to their camp this summer.”
Oklahoma has been white-hot on the recruiting trail this month, as the Sooners have gone from being ranked outside the Top 30 at the beginning of July to now the No. 8 class in the country with a few more commitments coming.
OU has 17 commitments at this point in its 2023 class, and has plenty of room to move upward with signing day still several months away.
