College Football America Releases Preseason Big 12 Starting Lineup

The Texas Longhorns led the way with five selections in the 2022 College Football America Yearbook Preseason Big 12 Starting Lineup.
Those selections for Texas were running back Bijan Robinson, wide receiver Xavier Worthy, linebacker Demarvion Overshown, safety Anthony Cook and punt returner D’Shawn Jamison.
Robinson is coming off a 2021 season in which he led the Longhorns with 1,127 yards rushing and 11 touchdowns. He also added 26 receptions for 295 yards and four touchdowns. He’s expected to be a Heisman candidate in 2022. Worthy was a freshman All-American selection and the Big 12 Freshman of the Year.
Last year’s co-Big 12 Defensive Linemen of the Year are also on the Starting Lineup in Kansas State defensive end Felix Anudike-Uzomah and Iowa State defensive end Will McDonald IV.
Nine of the 10 Big 12 teams are represented on the Starting Lineup, which is the book’s version of a preseason All-Conference team.
The 2022 College Football America Yearbook features seven pages of Big 12 content, including an overall preview of the conference race, a spotlight piece on a stadium, the Big 12 Starting Lineup, all team schedules and a half-page devoted to each program.
The book features Houston quarterback Clayton Tune on the cover. The Cougars will join the Big 12 in 2023, along with BYU, Cincinnati and UCF.
