K-State Picks Up Commitment from 2023 Three-Star EDGE Jordan Allen

Kansas State picked up a win, both on the scoreboard and on the recruiting trail this weekend, with a 34-0 victory over South Dakota.
Three-star defensive end Jordan Allen was on an official visit in Manhattan this weekend and committed to the Wildcats after his second trip there in a little over a month.
Allen, the No. 76 EDGE player, and No. 11 overall player in the State of Kansas for 2023, chose Kansas State over Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Iowa, Iowa State, New Mexico State, South Dakota, USC and Washington.
The talented prospect took three other official visits before deciding to ride with K-State, seeing what Missouri, Iowa, and Iowa State had to offer in person before shutting down his recruitment. Interestingly, Allen picked up an offer from Lincoln Riley and the USC Trojans back in May and was slated to take a visit there, but that visit looks to be in jeopardy now.
Allen’s commitment brings Kansas State’s 2023 class to 18 pledges, ranking them 44th overall in the country and eighth in the Big 12.
Kansas State is set to host Missouri in a big nonconference matchup this weekend and will hope to start the season 2-0 as they are currently an 8.5 point favorite in that one.
