The Kansas Jayhawks have been one of the biggest surprises of the 2022 college football season, and they are starting to garner a lot of national attention. On Sunday, after a monumental 14-11 victory over Iowa State, the Jayhawks vaulted into the Top 25 for the first time in 13 years, landing at No. 19.
Now, with a ranked foe in No. 17 TCU coming to town, the spotlight will be in Lawrence, Kansas this weekend as College Gameday comes to town. The atmosphere inside The Booth is expected to be raucous again, and it will need to be. Not only is this a big weekend for the 2022 Kansas team, but it is also one of the biggest recruiting weekends in recent memory for the Jayhawks.
Lance Leipold and the Kansas coaching staff will welcome roughly 70 recruits who are prepared to be in town for the ranked matchup between undefeated Big 12 foes.
