Things are continuing to go just great in College Station.
On Friday, Texas A&M football coach Jimbo Fisher bailed on a standard production meeting with ESPN’s SEC Network. Tom Hart is calling the game and told Paul Finebaum on Friday afternoon, “I don’t know why, but I’ve been doing this for a minute, and that’s the first time a head coach bailed on a production meeting.”
To make things even more interesting, Hart reported that Jimmy Sexton, Fisher’s high-powered agent, is in Texas this weekend.
Here’s a look at Hart on the Finebaum show.
But within about 90 minutes, Fisher magically appeared for a production meeting with Hart, who shared the following tweet less than two hours after he appeared on Paul Finebaum’s show.
It keeps getting worse and more dramatic at A&M. The Aggies were a preseason Top 10 team, but are currently 3-4 on the season. Earlier this week, multiple players were suspended indefinitely and there are rumors swirling that several players could be heading for the transfer portal. The Aggies had the No. 1 ranked 2022 recruiting class.
Texas A&M hosts No. 15 Ole Miss on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. CST. The Rebels come in at 7-1 on the season.
