Week 9 of the college football season is in the books and now its on to Week 10. There were four games this week, with TCU beating West Virginia 41-31, Oklahoma getting by Iowa State 27-13, K-State crushing Oklahoma State 48-0 and Baylor handling Texas Tech 45-14.
The Big 12 has been one of the most unpredictable conferences in America and is as deep as any conference, and that is, once again, displayed in the opening lines for Week 10 of the season from BetOnline.ag.
Week 10 Big 12 Football Opening Lines
Baylor +3 at Oklahoma
West Virginia +6.5 at Iowa State
Oklahoma State -3.5 at Kansas
Texas -1 at Kansas State
Texas Tech +10 at TCU
Well, another week with four of the five Big 12 games with spreads less than one touchdown. That’s no longer a surprise.
But what comes across surprising is how much respect Kansas is getting at home against Oklahoma State. I understand the Cowboys got blown out on Saturday against K-State, while KU is coming off a bye, but the Jayhawks have lost three in a row and appear to be reverting back to the mean.
Meantime, Iowa State as as 6.5-point spread is admirable, but is that too big for a team with an anemic offense?
Regardless, it’ll be another great week of Big 12 football on Saturday. I’m already ready!
