TCU Men’s Basketball Starts Assembling 2023 Recruiting Class

Jamie Dixon

The TCU Horned Frogs men’s basketball team began assembling talent for its 2023-24 team as the NCAA’s early-signing period opened on Wednesday.

The Horned Frogs, led by coach Jamie Dixon, is coming off a 2021-22 in which it reached the NCAA Tournament and won a first-round game for the first time since 1987, when Dixon was the Horned Frogs’ point guard.

The Horned Frogs nearly beat No. 1 seed Arizona in the second round before losing in overtime. For that reason, the Horned Frogs have become a trendy Top 25 pick entering the season.

Before the signing period, the Horned Frogs had two commitments, including a Top 100 national player in forward Jace Posey out of Strake Jesuit in Houston, Texas. Posey is TCU’s fifth-highest ranked recruit in the history of recruiting rankings.

The Horned Frogs announced the signings of Posey and of forward Isaiah Manning on Wednesday.

TCU’s 2023 recruiting class is below. Players who confirmed as signed are noted below. The list below also includes the Horned Frogs’ season-opening roster.

The early-signing window closes on Nov. 16.
