The Oklahoma State Cowboys have flipped an underrated three-star prospect in defensive back RJ Lester from Arkansas.

The Class of 2023 recruit played at Fort Smith (Ark.) Northside and made his announcement on Twitter on Saturday.

Lester officially de-committed from Kansas State on Monday and never publicly reported an offer from Oklahoma State. According to 247Sports, Lester is rated as a three-star prospect and although he is projected as a safety by 247Sports, he committed to Oklahoma State as a cornerback.

The 6-foot-1, 185-pounder is the No. 7 overall recruit in Arkansas.

Lester is known for his length and his 4.48 40-time speed.

Oklahoma State moves up to No. 60 in the 247Sports Recruiting Rankings for the 2023 Class, and are now ranked ninth in the Big 12 Conference rankings ahead of Kansas.

The early signing period begins on Wednesday, December 21st.
