The TCU Horned Frogs continue to clean up on the recruiting trail and transfer portal this week with their College Football Playoff appearance right around the corner.
Former LSU wide receiver Jack Bech (6’2”, 215) announced on Twitter he would be joining the Horned Frogs for the 2023 season.
Here is Bech’s announcement.
Bech had a breakout freshman campaign for the Tigers in 2021, but injuries held him back in Year 2 under new head coach Brian Kelly. As a freshman, Bech led the team with 43 receptions, while adding 489 receiving yards and three touchdowns. This season, Bech recorded 16 catches for 200 yards and one touchdown.
Bech was part of LSU’s 2021 Class where he was a four-star recruit and ranked as the No. 54 wide receiver and No. 11 player in Louisiana, according to the 247Sports composite.
This news comes one day after TCU added another former four-star prospect out of the SEC in former Alabama wide receiver JoJo Earle. Still, Earle had 12 receptions each of his past two seasons with the Crimson Tide for a total of 303 yards and two touchdowns.
Bech and Earle will join a TCU offense that was No. 1 in the Big 12 in scoring at over 40 points per game and ranked third in the league in passing yards at 273 per contest.
