The 2022-23 bowl season will include 43 bowl games, with games scheduled to start on Dec. 16 with the Bahamas Bowl and the Cure Bowl.
The bowl season will continue through December and early January, leading up to the College Football Playoff national championship game on Jan. 9.
There will be no bowl games on Jan. 1, 2023, this year. That’s because the day falls on a Sunday and the NFL is scheduled to play games on that day.
