K-State Malik Knowles Enters 2023 NFL Draft

NCAA Football: Liberty Bowl-Navy vs Kansas State

Kansas State receiver Malik Knowles posted a heartfelt goodbye to fans on Thursday in an Instagram post detailing his intention to declare for the 2023 NFL Draft.

The Senior receiver snagged 48 catches for 725 yards and two scores for the Wildcats in his 2022 campaign. While Knowles missed some time this season he still showed major splash plays for the Wildcats in the passing game, rushing game, and on special teams. Knowles highlighted the true meaning of a triple-threat playmaker for the Cats and looks to continue on at the next level.

You can see Knowles’ post below.

Knowles spent a total of five years with the Cats and in his time totaled 127 catches, 1,867 yards, and 14 receiving touchdowns. Knowles also added 36 carries for 440 yards and four scores on the ground.

Another facet of Malik Knowles’ game was his special teams’ abilities. Knowles averaged 25.26 yards per kick return in his K-State career and had some memorable kick returns in big moments to help give the Cats an edge.

Whoever ends up drafting Knowles will have themselves a big play threat on offense and special teams, and one that not many outside of the Big 12 are aware of.
