Oklahoma State Basketball Lands 2023 Four-Star PF Eric Dailey

NCAA Basketball: Baylor at Oklahoma State

One of the top available players in the 2023 recruiting class is headed to the best basketball conference in the nation as Eric Dailey Jr. committed to play for Mike Boynton and Oklahoma State on Wednesday.

Dailey, a 6-7 guard at IMG Academy in Florida, announced his commitment to play for the Cowboys live on 247Sports Wednesday morning and brought smiles to folks faces across Stillwater in doing so.

A four-star player in the 2023 class, Dailey ranks as the No. 51 player in this cycle and before committing to Oklahoma State was the second-highest uncommitted player left in the country.

Over this past summer, Dailey built a report with Pokes’ head coach Mike Boynton and Oklahoma State signee Brandon Garrison while playing with USA Basketball at the FIBA Americas Championship. There, he averaged 9.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists a game and took home a gold medal as a result.

Back in September, Dailey released his Top 8 schools, a list that included Oklahoma State, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Memphis, Texas A&M, Florida State and TCU. After he chose the Cowboys, Oklahoma State’s 2023 class rose to No. 9 nationally, trailing only Iowa State for tops in the Big 12.
